The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lucas but Lucas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thomas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lucas fails with the takedown.
Thomas gets a clinch.
Thomas prevents the takedown attempt.
Thomas manages to break the clinch.
Thomas shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thomas is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lucas has managed to free his arm - good work.

Lucas has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Thomas. Oh but Lucas has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Thomas goes limp - he's gone! Lucas jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
