Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tore Rebo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatenda Ihejirika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rebo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Papa Roach - Burn. Tore Rebo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ihejirika gets a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Ihejirika is trying to maintain a safe position but Rebo gets an underhook and turns Ihejirika into the cage.
Ihejirika misses with a hook from the clinch.
Ihejirika blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Rebo lands with a right to the head.

Ihejirika has hold of one of Rebo's legs. Rebo is fighting the takedown attempt but Ihejirika gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rebo in particular looking to stall.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rebo stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ihejirika to get to his feet.
Ihejirika shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rebo defends it nicely.
Ihejirika fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ihejirika tries to bum rush Rebo with a series of wild strikes but Rebo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ihejirika throws a nice looking combination but Rebo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ihejirika looks to land a body kick but Rebo moved away.

A little feinted left hand from Rebo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Ihejirika fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rebo manages to avoid it.
Rebo appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Rebo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

It looks like Tatenda Ihejirika has been cut.

Rebo tried to counter with a leg kick but Ihejirika avoided it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ihejirika tries to clinch but Rebo is having none of it.
Rebo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ihejirika takes a step back to recover.
Rebo throws a leg kick which misses Ihejirika's front leg but catches the back leg as Ihejirika tries to avoid it.
Ihejirika avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Ihejirika throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rebo counters with a thumping low kick.
Rebo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Ihejirika scores with a takedown into Rebo's guard.
Rebo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ihejirika postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rebo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ihejirika, into his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rebo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ihejirika swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Rebo counters with a nice right hand that sends Ihejirika toppling to the canvas! Ihejirika scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rebo finish him?!
