Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ove Sundberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Julius Caesar!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sundberg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Caesar was well out of range. Poor timing from Sundberg.
Sundberg lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sundberg throws a leg kick but Caesar sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Caesar wants to counter with a clinch but Sundberg pushes him away.
Sundberg has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Caesar finds it's way round the side to connect with Sundberg's head.
Sundberg just misses with a punch to the body.
Sundberg has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM in the buildup to the fight.
Caesar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sundberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sundberg changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Caesar goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Caesar tries to throw a body punch but Sundberg avoids it by throwing Caesar back against the cage.
Sundberg throws a punch but it's blocked by Caesar.

Caesar wants to pass the guard but Sundberg is keeping the position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sundberg holds on and takes a little breather.
Sundberg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Caesar is one step ahead there.
Sundberg is pulling down on Caesar's head to control his posture.
Caesar is looking to work some ground and pound but Sundberg has wrist control.
Caesar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Caesar is looking to pass into half guard but Sundberg pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Sundberg is in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Caesar keeping moving, preventing Sundberg from controlling successfully.

Caesar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sundberg is one step ahead there.
Sundberg stays in close to Caesar's body and controls the position.
Sundberg seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Caesar for as long as he can get away with.

Sundberg is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Caesar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Caesar has escaped and now he's on top!

Caesar wants to get up but he can't break Sundberg's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Sundberg is pulling down on Caesar's head. It's preventing any offense from Caesar, at least for the moment.
Caesar passes Sundberg's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sundberg is looking for a sweep. Caesar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Caesar is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Sundberg manages to get to full guard.
Sundberg is pulling down on Caesar's head. It's preventing any offense from Caesar, at least for the moment.
Caesar wants to stand but Sundberg has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That kick from Caesar tenderised Sundberg's leg. Sundberg is trying to keep his angry face on.
Caesar moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sundberg throws a series of punches but Caesar avoids them all with ease.

Sundberg drops down looking for a counter takedown but Caesar sprawls and moves away.
Caesar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sundberg.
Caesar scores with a nice head shot.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Sundberg goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Caesar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sundberg but great work by Caesar.

Caesar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Sundberg tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Caesar tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Sundberg is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Caesar off and has taken his back!

Sundberg has his arm under Caesar's chin here. Game over son! Sundberg squeezes tightly and Caesar is forced to tap out!
