The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Guilherme.
Powell throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Powell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Guilherme throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Powell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Guilherme controls the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Powell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Guilherme is aware though and is defending well.
Powell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guilherme gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Guilherme's jab looks to have found its range, popping Powell under the eye.
Powell dodges the punch combination from Guilherme.
Guilherme shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Powell is looking for a triangle here but Guilherme uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Guilherme has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Powell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Guilherme.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Guilherme feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Powell tries to kick Guilherme off but Guilherme keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Powell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Guilherme pulls his head out easily.
Guilherme lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Guilherme thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Guilherme is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Powell is just riding it out for now. Guilherme eventually gives up the hold.

Powell is desperately trying to improve his position but Guilherme has a good base and remains in mount.
Guilherme stands up from mount. Strange move.
Guilherme throws a series of strikes that have Powell backpedaling.

Guilherme throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Powell was covering up waiting for the punch and Guilherme finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Oh Powell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guilherme must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Guilherme not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Guilherme decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Guilherme rushes Powell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

I would just about give that final round to Flavio Guilherme.
Well Guilherme has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
