The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrosa smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like John Leary has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Barrosa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Leary doesn't seem phased though.

Leary could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Barrosa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Barrosa lands a big uppercut and Leary crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Leary looks OK. Barrosa waves Leary back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barrosa feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leary sprawling to the canvas! Leary rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Barrosa finish him?!

John Leary's cut is getting worse.
Barrosa digs a good body shot into Leary's ribs.

Barrosa cracks Leary with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Barrosa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Leary to stand back up!

Leary is rocked!

John Leary's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Leary switches off momentarily and Barrosa cracks him with a monster right hand! Leary topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Barrosa dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Barrosa!
