Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kvasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Espiridion Araya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kvasov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Diskoteka avaria-Nebo. Roman Kvasov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Espiridion Araya's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Araya.

Araya instigates a clinch.

Kvasov throws a head punch that misses.
Kvasov lands a body shot.
Kvasov tries to throw a body punch but Araya avoids it by throwing Kvasov back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kvasov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kvasov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Araya's sensitive parts.

Kvasov closes the distance and pushes Araya back into the cage.
Araya tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Roman Kvasov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kvasov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Araya.
Araya is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kvasov throws a left and a right that both miss

and Araya counters by moving into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kvasov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Araya has a couple of punches blocked by Kvasov.
Araya fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Araya digs a right hand underneath Kvasov's ribcage. Kvasov let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Kvasov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kvasov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Araya on the side of the head.
Araya checks a low kick from Kvasov.
Kvasov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kvasov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Araya paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Araya scores with a jab to the head.
Araya throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Kvasov crashing down! Kvasov tries to stagger back to his feet but Araya just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Kvasov asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
