And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 wins, 9 losses and 1 draws, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dominic Manucci!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manucci uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Puno.
Manucci fails to land the takedown.
Manucci throws a combination that misses
and Puno counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Dominic Manucci has been cut.
Puno lands with a hook. Manucci tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dominic Manucci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puno cracks the inside of Manucci's front leg.
Manucci tries to clinch up but Puno circles away and keeps his distance.
Manucci walks into a jab.
Manucci tries to close the distance and clinch up but Puno swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Puno jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Puno displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Manucci.
Puno was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manucci is looking to clinch but Puno is avoiding it.
Puno delivers a nice body kick.
Puno throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Manucci stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Manucci looks winded!
Puno throws a wild body kick that Manucci sees coming a mile off.
Manucci wants to clinch up but Puno keeps it at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manucci tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Puno connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Puno misses with a two punch combination.
Puno delivers a nice body kick.
Manucci is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Puno lands a slapping body shot.
Puno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Puno lands a jab to the nose.
Puno closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Manucci! Puno dives in looking to finish! Manucci is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kajun Puno!
