The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vukovic dodges the punch combination from Mc Donnagh.
Vukovic throws a big shot that misses.

Vukovic forces Mc Donnagh back against the cage and clinches.
Vukovic throws a head punch that misses.
Vukovic lands a body punch in the clinch.
Vukovic tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Vukovic stops a takedown attempt from Mc Donnagh.
Mc Donnagh avoids a wild elbow strike from Vukovic.

Vukovic is trying to trip Mc Donnagh. He has hold of a leg but Mc Donnagh is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Vukovic persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Vukovic is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Mc Donnagh pulls Vukovic in to control the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vukovic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vukovic forces his way into half guard.
Vukovic uses his free foot to push down on Mc Donnagh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mc Donnagh.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vukovic cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
BOOM! Vukovic connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Vukovic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
