Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hilton Teimosia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Monteban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Monteban is defended easily by Teimosia.
As Monteban tries to get set, Teimosia tries to push him back and clinch up but Monteban manages to avoid the attempt.
Monteban has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Monteban there as he acknowledges the shot.
Monteban takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

It seemed like Monteban was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
