The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curran scores with a jab.
Francis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Curran connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Francis scrambles back to his feet.
Francis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Francis ducks right into an uppercut from Curran.

Francis is rocked!
Curran lands a nice leg kick that just misses Francis's sensitive parts.
Oh Francis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Curran ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Francis seems to have got his legs back now.
Curran connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Curran uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Curran lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Francis can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Curran and Francis drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Curran.
