Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harland Odom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seamus OToole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seamus OToole is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OToole looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Odom!

Odom sneaks out the side door and pushes OToole away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Odom slips under a jab.
It looked like Odom was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from OToole.
Seamus OToole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

OToole shoots in and gets a takedown into Odom's guard.

Odom is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
OToole looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Odom manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
OToole throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Odom works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Odom keeping moving, preventing OToole from controlling successfully.
Odom seems keen to control OToole's posture.

OToole looking to sit in guard and control but Odom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Odom working some strikes from top position.
Odom seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
OToole wants to sweep here but Odom controlling him for the moment.
Odom cracks OToole with a solid left hand.
Odom stays in close to OToole's body and controls the position.
OToole has momentary wrist control but Odom slips an elbow through the middle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Odom is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

OToole has his foot on Odom's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Odom works his way back into a safe position though.
Odom distracts OToole with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Odom sitting in guard, not really doing much.
OToole wants to stand and escape but Odom is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

OToole drives through and clinches with Odom against the cage.

Odom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
OToole tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Odom was well out of range. Poor timing from OToole.
OToole jabs Odom to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Odom really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

OToole rushes Odom and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
OToole swings wildly with an uppercut but Odom uses good head movement to avoid it.

Odom manages to break the clinch.

OToole darts in and clinches Odom up against the cage.
OToole has had enough of the clinch but Odom keeps him there for the moment.
OToole tries to circle away but Odom has him pinned against the cage.
OToole wants to stall.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Odom has OToole pressed against the cage, preventing OToole from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
OToole is looking to control Odom's arms but Odom gets an underhook and turns him. Now OToole has his back to the cage.
OToole looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Odom breaks the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Odom pushes OToole up against the cage in a clinch.
OToole wants to break free but Odom has control.
Odom scores with a knee to the head.

Odom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
OToole throws a body kick that misses.
Odom swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
OToole throws a nice looking combination but Odom bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Odom tries to sprawl but OToole drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Odom has one foot on OToole's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
OToole lands a nice shot that snaps Odom's head back.

Odom is rocked!

It looks like Harland Odom has been cut.
Odom blocks a head kick by OToole.
Oh Odom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Odom uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by OToole.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. OToole engages and cracks Odom with a massive lead left hook - Odom tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! OToole is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Seamus OToole!
