Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Constantine Kermit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giraldo Costanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kermit connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A punch lands to the side of Costanzo 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Costanzo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
It looked like Kermit was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Kermit connects with a good right hand that stumbles Costanzo. Costanzo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Giraldo Costanzo has been cut.
Costanzo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kermit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Kermit lands with a hook. Costanzo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Costanzo tries to bum rush Kermit with a series of wild strikes but Kermit uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Costanzo takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Kermit is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Costanzo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Costanzo. Kermit does a little dance to reset his feet.
Costanzo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Costanzo throws a lazy right hand but Kermit sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kermit is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Costanzo on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Costanzo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Costanzo swings for the body but Kermit moves out of range.
Kermit slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kermit darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Costanzo is rocked!
Costanzo drops his hands momentarily. Kermit doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Costanzo staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Costanzo doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
