Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Montalban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Touko Pouko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jesus Montalban has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Touko Pouko!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pouko pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
It looked like Montalban was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pouko.
Montalban defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pouko.
Montalban misses the shot to the body.
Pouko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Montalban misses with a hook. Pouko ducked under it nicely.
Some bone on bone action there as Pouko checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Pouko cracks Montalban with a good jab.
Pouko shoots in for a double leg but Montalban sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Pouko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Montalban scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Pouko manages to mount him!

Pouko is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Montalban can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Pouko wants to finish this one by submission but Montalban is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pouko.

Pouko is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Montalban has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Montalban!
Pouko has control of Montalban's left arm, preventing Montalban from doing any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pouko is on top in guard.

Pouko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Montalban swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pouko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd cheers as Montalban lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pouko doesn't seem phased though.

Montalban is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Pouko shoots for a double leg takedown but Montalban sprawls well. He's pushed Pouko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pouko throws a hook to the side of Montalban's head but Montalban sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pouko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pouko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Montalban but Montalban pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Montalban lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pouko's sensitive parts.

Pouko takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Pouko goes for a double leg but Montalban avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Montalban continues to drive forward.

Pouko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pouko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Montalban on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Montalban tries to get out of the position.
Pouko wants to pass the guard but Montalban is keeping the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pouko shoots in for a takedown but Montalban shows good takedown defense.

Montalban feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Poukos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That kick from Montalban tenderised Pouko's leg. Pouko is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pouko takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A right-left combo lands from Montalban.
Pouko shoots in but no luck this time.

Montalban goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Pouko is rocked!
Montalban slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Pouko is still on wobbly legs! Can Montalban finish him?

and Montalban counters with a nice leg kick.
BOOM! Montalban lands a beautiful left hook that drops Pouko. Pouko tries to recover but Montalban is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Pouko lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
