Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chung Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chung Dunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Erick Turner!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner rushes Dunn and presses him up against the cage.
Dunn jumps guard but Turner turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Turner prevents the takedown attempt.

Dunn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A combination from Turner does no damage.
Dunn is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Turner.

Turner moves into range and clinches up with Dunn.
Dunn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Turner walks away with a smile on his face. Dunn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chung Dunn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Turner has managed to clinch.

Dunn manages to break the clinch.
Dunn really is a fat lump.
Turner throws a series of punches but Dunn moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turner moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Chung Dunn has been cut.
Dunn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Turner rushes Dunn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dunn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Turner smiles and moves away.
A jab from Turner finds it's way through Dunn's defenses.

Turner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Turner manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dunn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Turner's efforts to push away.
Dunn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Turner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Turner throws a combination that misses

and Dunn holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Dunn tries to pull guard but Turner forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dunn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Turner's efforts to push away.
Dunn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dunn has Turner pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Turner manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Turner has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Dunn pulls Turner into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Dunn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Turner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dunn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dunn is breathing heavily.
Turner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Turner with a flurry of punches that miss.
Turner controls from within his opponent's guard.

Dunn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Turner controlling from the top position.

Dunn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Turner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dunn is on top in guard.

Turner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dunn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Turner wants to get back to his feet but Dunn is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dunn trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Turner wants to sweep but no luck.
Turner is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Chung Dunn's cut.
That's time! Dunn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Turner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dunn, pushing him back against the cage.
Dunn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dunn wants a takedown but no success here.
Turner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dunn has him pressed against the cage.

Dunn has Turner pressed against the cage, preventing Turner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Turner has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Turner makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Turner has Dunn pressed against the cage, preventing Dunn from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Turner looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Dunn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Turner fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Chung Dunn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Turner wants to get back to full guard but Dunn has passed into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turner gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Turner wants to get back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Turner keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Turner is controlling Dunn's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Erick Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Turner moves into the clinch.
Turner lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dunn backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Turner.
Turner is looking to control Dunn's arms but Dunn gets an underhook and turns him. Now Turner has his back to the cage.
Turner tries to break the clinch but Dunn is controlling the position.

Dunn is trying to pull guard but Turner turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Turner tries to circle away but Dunn has him pinned against the cage.
Erick Turner seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Turner is trying to break the clinch but Dunn is controlling him.

Dunn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Turner closes the distance and clinches.

Dunn drops down looking for an ankle pick but Turner pulls his leg out and moves away.
Turner lands a jab-cross combination.
Turner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dunn momentarily.
Dunn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Turner swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Turner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dunn counters with a left and a right that stings Turner.

Turner rushes Dunn and presses him up against the cage.
Dunn tries to pull guard but Turner forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chung Dunn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dunn wants a takedown.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A nice right hand lands inside from Turner.
Turner pushes Dunn back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dunn tries to pull guard but Turner forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turner lands a left hand.
Turner lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Dunn takes a shot to the head.
Turner unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Dunn! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Turner is unloading with more strikes now! Dunn drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erick Turner!
