Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stres Fleshou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stres Fleshou!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fleshou on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Nice cross by Webb.
Webb closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fleshou circles away.
Fleshou fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Webb checks it well.
Fleshou throws out a powerful jab.
Fleshou throws a jab when Webb was well out of range.
Webb turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Webb. Fleshou shrugs it off though.
Sloppy strikes from Fleshou. Those never looked like landing.
Webb scores with a nice head shot.
Fleshou is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Webb.
Webb is looking to counter with a body kick.
Webb throws a sloppy head kick and Fleshou moves out of range easily.

Webb takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fleshou lunges at Webb with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Webb's hand.
Webb avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fleshou misses with a right hand
and Webb counters with a low kick, right behind Fleshou 's knee.
Webb throws a series of punches but Fleshou moves out of range.
Webb throws a sloppy head kick and Fleshou moves out of range easily.
A little jabbing left from Fleshou on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Webb throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Fleshou's head.
Webb misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Webb. Fleshou shrugs it off though.
Webb misses with a kick to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slapping body kick lands there for Webb.

Webb throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Fleshou stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Webb follows into mount!


It looks like Stres Fleshou has been cut.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fleshou can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fleshou holds on, trying desperately to control.
Fleshou wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Webb.

Webb working for a submission but Fleshou is keeping him at bay.

Webb goes for an armbar but Fleshou turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fleshou.

Fleshou would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Fleshou slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Fleshou is continuing to stall.
Webb has a closed guard, preventing Fleshou from standing up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Webb being controlled here, momentarily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Webb scores with a decent looking hook.
Good exchange - Fleshou coming out on top.
Webb with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fleshou to score with a decent uppercut.
Webb slips a jab from Fleshou.
A solid leg kick lands there for Webb.
Webb looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Webb throws a push kick but Fleshou slaps the foot to one side.
Fleshou connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Webb momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Webb dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Stres Fleshou's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Fleshou misses with a lunging right hand
and Webb counters with a nice kick to the body.
Stres Fleshou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fleshou throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Webb sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Webb feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Webb dodges the punch combination from Fleshou.
Webb appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Webb moves away from the strike by Fleshou.
No luck for Webb with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fleshou swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fleshou moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A good leg kick by Webb.
Webb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fleshou can do to turn this around?

Nice straight punches there by Fleshou. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fleshou.
Fleshou throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Fleshou finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Webb is looking to counter with head kicks.
Webb misses with a kick to the body.
David Webb is winning the standup battle so far.
Webb takes a jab right on the kisser.

Fleshou takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fleshou misses with a looping left.
It appears Webb was looking to counter with a kick there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Webb pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Webb keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fleshou.
Fleshou smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The fighters circling - Fleshou throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Webb ducks under a wild hook from Fleshou.
Fleshou throws a jab but it's blocked by Webb.
Webb lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Webb throws a sloppy head kick and Fleshou moves out of range easily.
Fleshou feints and then cracks Webb's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Webb down.

Fleshou lands with an overhand left.
Webb goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fleshou misses the jab.
Webb jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Webb scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Webb throws a head kick that misses.
Fleshou swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fleshou just misses with a punch to the body.
Webb takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A jab from Fleshou misses.
Webb throws a nice head kick!
Webb throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Fleshou counters with a nice leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fleshou cracks Webb with a right hand to the side of the head.


Webb is rocked!
Fleshou fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Webb has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Webb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fleshou is stalking Webb. Webb circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Fleshou, and it's lights out! Webb really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stres Fleshou!
Our winner, Stres Fleshou, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
