Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lindomar Targaryen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayhem has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Targaryen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mayhem did well to prevent Targaryen getting side control.
Mayhem looks winded!
Targaryen trying to control the pace.
Targaryen wants to stand but Mayhem has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Targaryen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mayhem with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Targaryen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Targaryen tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Targaryen seems to be looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Targaryen slows the pace down in half guard.

Mayhem is refusing to be controlled, as Targaryen sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Targaryen thows a huge punch but Mayhem dodges it nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mayhem is not content to let Targaryen control the position.
Targaryen wants to pass to mount but Mayhem is defending the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Targaryen drives through with a takedown into guard.
Targaryen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mayhem on the ground.
Targaryen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Targaryen wanted to stand there but Mayhem had control of the position.

Targaryen wants to pass the guard but Mayhem is keeping the position.
Targaryen trying to control the position from guard on top but Mayhem is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Targaryen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Targaryen is sitting in close to Mayhem's body. Mayhem has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Targaryen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Targaryen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mayhem.
