Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonid Panteleev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aristotle Polidori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leonid Panteleev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Aristotle Polidori!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polidori throws a series of punches but Panteleev moves out of range.
Polidori misses with a few strikes there.
Polidori fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Panteleev is looking to counter punch.
Panteleev lands a nice shot that snaps Polidori's head back.
Polidori throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Panteleev swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Polidori drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Panteleev is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Polidori is controlling him.
Panteleev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Panteleev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Polidori on the ground.
Panteleev is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Polidori is looking to work some ground and pound but Panteleev has wrist control.
My spies in The Fortress inform me that Polidori has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Polidori accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Polidori's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Polidori throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Panteleev manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Polidori has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Panteleev is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Panteleev is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Panteleev manages to break the clinch.

Polidori changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Panteleev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Panteleev throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Leonid Panteleev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aristotle Polidori.

The fighters circling - Polidori throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Polidori throws a combination that misses
and Panteleev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aristotle Polidori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Polidori looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Panteleev is fending him off so far but Polidori persists. Nope, Panteleev circles away and we're back to standing.

enabling Panteleev to counter with a crisp jab.

Polidori closes the distance and clinches up with Panteleev, looking for a takedown. Polidori pushes Panteleev against the cage but Panteleev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Panteleev lands a nice shot to the body.
Panteleev's jab looks to have found its range, popping Polidori under the eye.
Polidori on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Polidori is rocked!
Panteleev drops Polidori with a huge uppercut! Polidori drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Panteleev is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
