Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denis Hussey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Denis Hussey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyoto Machida!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussey takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Denis Hussey has been cut.
Hussey walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Machida checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Machida doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Machida connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hussey. Hussey circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hussey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machida tries to avoid it but Hussey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machida to the ground. Machida escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hussey has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Machida digs a good hook to Hussey's body.
Hussey has his takedown stuffed
and Machida counters with a left to the body.
Hussey is breathing heavily.
Machida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Machida stuns Hussey with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Machida.
Machida lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machida throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Machida pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Oooooh!!! Machida has knocked Hussey down with a huge combo! Machida steps away and waves a wobbly Hussey back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Hussey takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida drops Hussey with a naaaaasty hook - Hussey is in real trouble here! Machida dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
