Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jasper Daniel!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Lang!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lang is looking to clinch but Daniel is avoiding it.
Daniel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lang but Lang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lang wants it to stay on the feet.
Daniel is looking to land body kicks.
Lang lands with an uppercut that bounces Daniel off the cage and back into range.
Lang misses the shot to the body.
Lang fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice cross by Lang.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lang, as that shot connected.


Daniel is rocked!
Lang misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Daniel shoots in looking for a takedown but Lang manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daniel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jasper Daniel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lang works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Oh Daniel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Daniel misses with a kick to the body.
Daniel seems to have got his legs back now.
Lang lands a head shot.
Daniel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lang.
Daniel ducks right into an uppercut from Lang.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Lang.
Daniel thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lang if he has to take too many more of those.
Daniel on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
David Lang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Daniel misses with a wild combination.

Lang lands a big right hand that sends Daniel crashing to the mat! Lang stays standing though and waves Daniel back to his feet!
Daniel avoids the body shot from Lang.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lang scores with a crisp jab that stopped Daniel in his tracks.
Daniel throws out a leg kick but Lang moves out of range and Daniel only half commits.
Lang moves out of range of the body kick from Daniel.
Lang is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice body kick from Daniel.

Lang gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lang is looking to stand up but Daniel isn't so interested in that idea.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lang can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Daniel wants to control from the top but Lang keeps moving.
Lang wants to sweep here but Daniel controlling him for the moment.
Lang preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lang bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Daniel's guard.

Daniel is trying to control the position but Lang postures up.
Daniel controlling Lang's posture.
Daniel wants to sweep here but Lang controlling him for the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lang wanted to stand there but Daniel had control of the position.
Daniel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lang is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Daniel has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Daniel looks for a takedown but Lang sprawls well.
Lang connects with a good right hand that stumbles Daniel. Daniel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Daniel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Lang throws a body shot but no joy.
Lang moves out of range of the body kick from Daniel.
Nice shot by Lang.
Lang keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice body punch from Lang.
A good leg kick by Daniel.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Lang dominated that round.
That's time! Daniel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Lang scores with a crisp jab that stopped Daniel in his tracks.
Lang wants to clinch up but Daniel keeps it at a distance.
Lang connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Daniel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lang misses with a wild body shot.
Lang checks a leg kick nicely.
Daniel takes one to the side of the head.
Daniel tries for a takedown but Lang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lang connects with the punch.
Lang cracks Daniel with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Daniel falls to his knees and Lang doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Lang! David Lang retains his lightweight title!
As David Lang got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: You must not know who david lang is? Im the training partner of the other guy who whipped your ass but I hit a little harder.....This is the beginning of the david lang era'.
