Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Agoncillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piston Horiguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horiguchi feints and then cracks Agoncillo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Agoncillo down.
Horiguchi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Agoncillo.
Agoncillo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Agoncillo is looking to clinch but Horiguchi is avoiding it.
Horiguchi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Agoncillo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Horiguchi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've been told by Agoncillo's head coaches at RCJ Machado Jiu-Jitsu that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Agoncillo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
