The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredriksson checks a leg kick nicely.
Fredriksson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lee.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fredriksson is just riding it out for now. Lee eventually gives up the hold.

Roland Fredriksson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fredriksson to the mat! Fredriksson manages to get full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fredriksson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fredriksson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lee.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Lee is working to tighten his grip on Fredriksson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Fredriksson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lee is really squeezing tight and eventually Fredriksson passes out! Lee breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
