Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yokozuna Asashoryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sarkis Terteryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terteryan has chosen Röyksopp - The Fear as his entrance music. Yokozuna Asashoryu has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 39 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sarkis Terteryan!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terteryan fails with a takedown attempt.
Terteryan moves forwards but Asashoryu connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Sarkis Terteryan has been cut.
Terteryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Terteryan takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Asashoryu drops Terteryan with a left right combo! Asashoryu follows him down to the ground into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Terteryan managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Asashoryu.

Asashoryu tries for a kimura but Terteryan is defending well.
Asashoryu fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
You can see the frustration on Terteryan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Terteryan avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Asashoryu.

Asashoryu is trying to get an arm triangle but Terteryan is defending well.
Asashoryu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Asashoryu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Asashoryu is looking to take a break and control but Terteryan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Asashoryu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Asashoryu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Terteryan sneaks back into half guard.

Asashoryu is trying for a kimura here. Terteryan looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Asashoryu wins by kimura!
