Sobrante comes to the cage accompanied by Primus - Fisticuffs. Smith has chosen Therion - Sitra Ahra as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobrante shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Les Sobrante seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Smith enables Sobrante to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Smith manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Sobrante escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Smith is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Sobrante avoids the head kick by Smith.
Sobrante goes for a double leg but Smith avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Smith continues to drive forward.
Sobrante goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Smith looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Smith tries to counter with a clinch but Sobrante shakes him off and moves away.
Smith connects with a body shot that sends Sobrante's belly button to the back.
Sobrante fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Smith is out of range.
Sobrante shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.
Smith steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Sobrante.

Smith misses with a hook. Sobrante ducked under it nicely.

Smith circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Sobrante drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Smith follows Sobrante to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
