Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rickon Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shit Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blue clear sky. Shit Face has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Rickon Stark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Shit Face!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark wants to slow Face down by chopping away at his legs.
Face drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stark defends it well.
Stark uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


It looks like Shit Face has been cut.
Face tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stark sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Face somewhat.
Stark has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Fortress in the buildup to the fight.
Stark lands with a cross.
Stark jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rickon Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Face shoots for a takedown but Stark saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stark rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Face moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A nice side step and Face releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Face keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stark.
Face tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Face tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stark sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Face somewhat.
An attempted straight right counter from Stark misses the target.
Rickon Stark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shit Face.
Face uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stark.

Stark tries to bum rush Face with a series of wild strikes but Face uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stark misses with a left hand

and Face counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Face trying to control but Stark is working from the bottom.
Stark wants to stand but Face is controlling the position.
Stark keeping moving, preventing Face from controlling successfully.
Face loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Stark wants to stand and escape but Face is having none of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Face slips under a jab from Stark.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Face checks a leg kick.

Stark throws a hook but Face avoids it easily.

so Face counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Stark keeping moving, preventing Face from controlling successfully.
Face pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stark is keeping the position for now.
Face throwing strikes but missing.
Face stops Stark from standing up.

Face drops back looking for a leg! Stark is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stark manages to kick Face off! Face jumps back into Stark's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Face pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stark is keeping the position for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Face wants to control from the top but Stark keeps moving.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Face might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stark haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Face tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stark sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Face somewhat.
No joy there for Stark, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Stark throws out a powerful jab.
A big left from Stark misses.
Stark throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Face replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Stark blocks it well.
A low kick from Stark misses

and Face counters with a takedown into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stark is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Face asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Face wants to control but Stark is keeping him busy.

Face is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stark has escaped the position, nice work there.

Face is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stark is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stark prevents Face from moving into mount.
Stark is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Face has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Stark trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rickon Stark dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Shit Face's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Stark throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Face counters with a straight right hand.
Face moves out of range as Stark strikes.
Rickon Stark is winning the standup battle so far.
Stark fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Face checks it well.
Stark uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Stark lands with a cross.
Stark throws a looping overhand right but Face ducks down to avoid it.
Nice takedown defense from Stark. No joy for Face on that attempt.
Stark throws a right and a left that both miss.
A slow jab from Stark misses its intended target.
Face lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Nice defenses there by Face.
Face drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stark defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stark is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Face thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stark is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Face is controlling him well.
Stark is looking to get back to his feet here but Face is keeping cool and he's managed to take Stark's back.
Stark staying busy and making it hard for Face to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Face misses with a punch to the head.

Face is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Stark has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Face is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Stark trying to get back to his feet but Face is in full control for now.

Face has managed to slip his arm under Stark's chin. This could be all over... yep, Stark is tapping out! Submission win for Face.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shit Face!
Shit Face got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
