The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Al Ahwei slams his shin into Cano's torso.
Al Ahwei throws a quick inside leg kick.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Al Ahwei - that will leave a mark!
Cano shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Al Ahwei as he jumps to the side.

Farouk Al Ahwei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edgar Cano.

Cano looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Al Ahwei!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cano has an Americana. Al Ahwei didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cano is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cano hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
