Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Camatta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konrad Husky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Camatta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Konrad Husky!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camatta lunges at Husky with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Husky's hand.
A head kick misses from Husky.
Camatta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Husky's waist but Husky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Camatta off to one side.
Camatta tries to bum rush Husky with a series of wild strikes but Husky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Husky fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Camatta looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Camatta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Husky was well out of range. Poor timing from Camatta.
Husky looks for the body kick but Camatta saw that one coming.
Husky misses with a body kick.
Camatta moves away from the strike by Husky.
Husky scores with a punch to the head.
Husky scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Good exchange - Camatta coming out on top.
Antonio Camatta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Decent striking displayed by Husky there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Camatta swings widly with a right hand
enabling Husky to counter with a crisp jab.
Camatta lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A combination from Camatta does no damage.
Husky is trying to counter with his kicks.
Camatta cracks Husky with a good jab.
Camatta has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Husky.

Camatta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Husky moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Camatta throws a jab when Husky was well out of range.

Camatta drives through with a takedown into guard.
Husky not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Husky looking for a sweep. Not yet Husky, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Camatta throws a big right hand that misses.
Camatta throwing strikes but missing.
Camatta trying to control the position from guard on top but Husky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Husky is on top in guard.

Camatta wants to sweep but no luck.
Husky postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Husky keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Camatta's head.
Husky with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Husky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Husky is working Camatta over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Husky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Camatta swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Husky is looking to work some ground and pound but Camatta has wrist control.
Husky won't allow Camatta to sweep him here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Camatta looking for a guillotine here but Husky defends easily.

Camatta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Husky defends well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Husky throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Camatta works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Husky postures up and lands a big shot to Camatta's brow.
Husky passes Camatta's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Husky is keen to just control but Camatta is a slippery customer.
Camatta avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Husky.
Husky stalling away here and it's allowed Camatta to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Camatta wants to sweep but no luck.
Husky postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Husky advances position into side control!
Husky trying to control the action but Camatta is working from the bottom.
Camatta tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Husky wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Husky cracks Camatta with a big right hand but Camatta just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Camatta is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Husky off and has taken his back!
Husky can't escape the position.
Camatta is trying to stick to Husky's back but Husky is turning into Camatta. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Camatta's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Husky.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Husky looking to improve position, pressing down on Camatta's thigh with his hand. Camatta seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Husky paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Husky's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Camatta picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Antonio Camatta!
A relieved looking Antonio Camatta thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
