Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuta Wakabayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Janus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wakabayashi comes to the cage accompanied by vvotaro - Noi. Janus has chosen Bodyjar - Not The Same as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hugh Janus!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wakabayashi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Janus manages to avoid it.
Janus tries to close the distance and clinch but Wakabayashi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wakabayashi changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Hugh Janus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wakabayashi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wakabayashi has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Janus defend it? Wakabayashi steps over the head and cranks it - Janus is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Wakabayashi!

In his post fight interview, Yuta Wakabayashi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Hugh Janus was interviewed post fight and said 'Sorry to let all you cunts down and congratulations to my opponent, he's a mad cunt.'.
