Gromov comes to the cage accompanied by LITTLE BIG-PUBLIC ENEMY. Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ennio Morricone - Rabbia E Tarantella kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mikhail Gromov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gromov moves into the clinch.
Gromov is trying to pull guard but Gracie has him pressed against the cage.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gromov shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gracie! But no joy.
Gromov wants to clinch
and Gracie counters with a straight right hand.
Gracie scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gromov tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Mikhail Gromov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie swats away the attempt to clinch by Gromov.

Gromov moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie manages to break the clinch.
Gracie cracks Gromov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Gromov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
Gracie scores with the left hand. Gromov knows he should have avoided that one.
Gromov wants to clinch
and Gracie counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Gromov to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Gracie!
