Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Cuervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Sito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sito has chosen DMX - What's my name? as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jose Cuervo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Sito!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sito throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sito fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cuervo checks it well.
Sito avoids the body shot from Cuervo.
Despite the aggression on Sito's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A nice leg kick lands there from Cuervo.
Good shot there by Cuervo.
Sito throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cuervo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KO Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Sito throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cuervo throws a combination that misses
and Sito counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Cuervo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sito crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cuervo - the referee stops the clock and Sito gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cuervo. Sito manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cuervo jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Sito counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sito throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cuervo.

Cuervo is rocked!
Sito misses with a kick to the body.
Oh Cuervo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cuervo throws a leg kick that is checked
and Sito scores with a counter punch that sends Cuervo to the canvas! Sito smells blood - he's punishing Cuervo with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Cuervo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Sito!
An out of breath Robert Sito thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
