Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Yeung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Mylleri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yeung comes to the cage accompanied by Fluffy. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Derrick Yeung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leo Mylleri!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeung scores with a shot to the body.
Yeung misses with a series of wild punches.
Mylleri throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yeung sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Yeung seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Mylleri misses with an uppercut.
Yeung misses with a jab, cross combination.
Yeung swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yeung fails to land with a series of punches.

A left lands for Mylleri.

And Mylleri tries to counter it with a takedown but Yeung pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Yeung throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Yeung will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mylleri throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Yeung on the side of the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Derrick Yeung will probably get the nod.

Mylleri might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Mylleri is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Yeung reverses the position - he's now on top in Mylleri's guard.

Yeung is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Yeung is looking to wear down Mylleri with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Mylleri lands a head shot.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yeung walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mylleri dodges the punch combination from Yeung.

I would just about give that final round to Leo Mylleri.
I think Mylleri has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
