Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yang Tao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tao comes to the cage accompanied by Carl Douglas - Kung Fu Fighting. Fett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Till I collapse kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tao throws a push kick but Fett slaps the foot to one side.
Fett swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Tao has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Tao uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Tao has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fett is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tao tries to roll over but Fett keeps him under control.

Tao holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Fett has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tao.

Fett does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fett's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

I would just about give that final round to Jango Fett.
Well Fett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jango Fett really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sun-Tzu logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
