Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Methyrr Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh MacKay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Bats. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacKay closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dall circles away.

MacKay looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
MacKay works his way into full mount!
Dall is working to get back to half guard.

MacKay goes for an armbar but Dall turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dall.

MacKay working for a triangle but Dall defends it easily.

MacKay is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

MacKay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

MacKay moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

MacKay escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MacKay is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

MacKay is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dall!

MacKay has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dall's face.
MacKay cracks Dall with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dall can't escape the position.
MacKay lands a big elbow.
MacKay should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
MacKay lands a couple of good shots and Dall has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Dall rolls, trying to escape but MacKay keeps control of the position.

MacKay is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Dall with him. Dall is trying to defend but MacKay has an arm under the chin now! Dall grimaces and is forced to tap out!
