The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore throws a poor cross that misses

so Costa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Costa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Costa postures up in Moore's guard and throws a big left but Moore blocks it.
Moore controls Costa momentarily but Costa frees himself.
Costa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Costa is looking to work some ground and pound but Moore has wrist control.
Costa throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Costa wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving.
Moore avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Costa darts in looking for a takedown but Moore gets double underhooks and turns Costa into the cage.
Moore slaps away a takedown attempt from Costa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Moore throws a shot from downtown. Costa moves away and avoids it.
Costa throwing a counter right hand but Moore manages to avoid it.
Costa misses with a wild body shot.
Moore looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Moore darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Diego Costa has been cut.
Moore lands a two punch combo.

Costa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nice defenses there by Moore.
Moore throws a hook but Costa blocks it.
Costa swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Moore swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Costa tries to counter with a takedown but Moore is quick to defend against it.
Costa closes the distance and clinches up with Moore, looking for a takedown. Costa pushes Moore against the cage but Moore circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Costa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Costa looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Moore throws a lazy uppercut
and Costa counters with a straight right hand.
Moore throws a right and a left that Costa avoids nicely.
Moore throws a front kick that sends Costa stumbling back into the cage.
Moore connects with the punch.
Moore jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Moore tries to keep at a distance but Costa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Moore jerks Costa's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Costa drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Moore goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Moore because Costa was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
