Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Liber Alderich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Welcome Back!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alderich throws a sloppy head kick and Back moves out of range easily.
Alderich throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Alderich throws a push kick but Back slaps the foot to one side.
Back steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Alderich.
Alderich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Back lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alderich has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alderich and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Liber Alderich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Back looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Back closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Alderich did well to prevent Back getting side control.
Alderich's coaches at Darkness (B613) have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Back takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's time! Alderich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Alderich fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Back.
Alderich throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Alderich just misses with a punch to the body.
Alderich throws a head kick that half lands.
Back tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Alderich looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Back shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Back throws a big right hand that misses.

Alderich has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Back can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Alderich can't keep his opponent in guard - Back advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Back stalling.
Alderich is looking for a sweep. Back is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Back not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Back has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Back wants to work for an arm triangle but Alderich is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Back performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Let's hope that Back has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
More stalling from Back.
Alderich is looking to control Back's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Alderich avoid being mounted?

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Alderich thumps Back with a low kick.

An inside leg kick lands from Alderich.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Back - that will leave a mark!
Back keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Alderich.
Alderich fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Back.
Alderich rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Back makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Alderich really felt that one!
Back sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Back avoids the head kick by Alderich.
A thudding body kick lands there by Alderich!
Alderich lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Back shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alderich as he avoids it easily.
Back tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alderich swivels and escapes.

Alderich lands a nice shot that snaps Back's head back.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alderich scores with a shot to the body.
Alderich avoids a kick to the body.
Alderich misses with a hook to the body

and Back counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Back.

Back pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Back misses with a straight right.
Alderich lands a leg kick that knocks Back off balance momentarily.
Back misses with a head kick.
Back takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Alderich misses with a hook.
Welcome Back is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alderich throws a head kick but Back moves out of range.
Back's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Back drives through with a takedown into guard.

Alderich working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Back has passed into half guard!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Alderich has his feet on Back's thighs here. He's pushed Back off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Back screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Our winner, Liber Alderich, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
The defeated Welcome Back had this to say: 'Get out of my face you punk-ass reporters!'.
