The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortega wants to clinch up but Bundy keeps it at a distance.
Cortega looks to land a combination. Bundy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Al Bundy has been cut.

Bundy gets tackled into the cage by Cortega. Cortega maintains the clinch.

Bundy tries to score a body lock takedown but Cortega shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Cortega has his foot on Bundy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bundy works his way back into a safe position though.

Bundy throws a jab but it's blocked by Cortega.

Cortega tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bundy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bundy looks up at the clock and then as Cortega takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bundy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Bundy scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Cortega is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Bundy can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

A relieved looking Al Bundy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
