And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Pavlovich!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polley turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Pavlovich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Polley.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pavlovich! But no joy.
Pavlovich keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've been informed that Pavlovich has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pavlovich will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

I was talking to Polley's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Pavlovich. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Adair Polley is winning the standup battle so far.

Pavlovich feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Polley sprawling to the canvas! Polley rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pavlovich finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Polley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pavlovich ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Polley's jaw. Polley's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Pavlovich does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anton Pavlovich!
After the fight, Anton Pavlovich was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
