Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Martel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JD Wildstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wildstein has chosen Bring It On as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 57 - 22 - 2, fighting out of New York, Charles Martel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, JD Wildstein!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Wildstein. Martel shrugs it off though.
Martel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That kick from Wildstein tenderised Martel's leg. Martel is trying to keep his angry face on.
Martel throws a head kick but Wildstein moves out of range.
Wildstein just misses with a punch to the body.
Donk. Wildstein catches Martel right on the button with a cross.
Wildstein fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wildstein has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Martel.
It seemed like Wildstein was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

JD Wildstein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wildstein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
