Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Plouman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magomedrasul Khasbulaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman shoots in and drives through. Khasbulaev sprawls well.
Plouman shoots in but no luck this time.
Khasbulaev lands a really nice looking cross but Plouman seems unphased.
Khasbulaev throws a right and a left that Plouman avoids nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Khasbulaev. Those never looked like landing.
Khasbulaev misses with a few strikes there.

Plouman attempts a counter takedown but Khasbulaev avoids it well and moves away.

and Plouman counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Khasbulaev!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Plouman is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Khasbulaev is trying to escape and Plouman transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Khasbulaev is forced to tap! Nice work there by Plouman! Very nice indeed!
