Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fred Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons comes to the cage accompanied by Dog Wild Heaven. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jones moves into the clinch.
Jones tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Simmons avoids it.
Simmons takes a knee right on the jaw!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones breaks the clinch.

Jones rushes Simmons and presses him up against the cage.

Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Simmons is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Fred Simmons will probably get the nod.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simmons. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Simmons seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jones is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
