Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Fynn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Quin!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quin moves out of range of the strikes.
Fynn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Quin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Quin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fynn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Contenders in the buildup to the fight.
Fynn misses with a lunging right hand
and Quin counters with a two punch combo.
Fynn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Quin counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Quin has Fynn pressed against the cage, preventing Fynn from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Fynn lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fynn is looking to control Quin's arms but Quin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Fynn has his back to the cage.

Fynn breaks from the clinch.
Fynn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fynn misses with a hook
and Quin counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Quin steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Fynn.
Quin slips under a jab.
Quin tries to counter with a clinch but Fynn shakes him off and moves away.
Fynn throws a right hand that misses
and Quin counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Bob Fynn has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fynn throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Quin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Fynn is rocked!
Fynn misses with an uppercut
and Quin counters with a huge left! Fynn is in big trouble! He's backing up but Quin isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Fynn from any more damage. A dominating finish by Quin!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Quin!
Our winner, Matt Quin, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
