The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bentos throws out a loose jab but Islander uses good head movement to avoid it.
Islander fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bentos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And Islander tries to counter it with a takedown but Bentos pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bentos misses with a body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Bentos. No joy for Islander on that attempt.
Islander connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Fray Bentos has been cut.
Islander throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Islander closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bentos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like The Islander has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Islander wants to clinch up but Bentos keeps it at a distance.

Bentos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Islander working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Islander misses with an elbow strike.
Bentos lands a left hand.
Islander wants to break free but Bentos has control.
Islander jumps guard but Bentos turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Bentos manages to break the clinch.
Islander throws a low kick but Bentos moves out of range easily.
Islander uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bentos.
Bentos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Islander.
Fray Bentos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Islander.

Islander let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Bentos leaves Islander with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bentos feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Islander crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
