Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Fernadez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fernadez.
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Fernadez pushes him off.
Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fernadez avoids the head kick by Smith.
Fernadez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smith eats them both and turns towards Fernadez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fernadez tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Smith is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Diego Fernadez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fernadez connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Smith wants to clinch.
Fernadez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Fernadez drops Smith with a nice combination! Fernadez dives into Smith's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Blue Smith has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Smith controls Fernadez momentarily but Fernadez frees himself.
Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fernadez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fernadez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fernadez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Smith has momentary wrist control but Fernadez slips an elbow through the middle.

Smith is rocked!
Fernadez arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Smith's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
