The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sotiris Kakoullis dominated that round.

Both fighters circling a little - Kakoullis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Danky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kakoullis swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Kakoullis cracks Danky with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kakoullis has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Danky to stand back up!
Danky misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kakoullis looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Danky throws a hook but Kakoullis blocks it.
Danky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Danky throws a leg kick
and Kakoullis counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Danky out cold! What a finish! Kakoullis is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
