Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Caskey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon has chosen Life Is Beautiful as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kid Caskey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Junior Brandon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Caskey scores with a crisp jab that stopped Brandon in his tracks.

It looks like Junior Brandon has been cut.
Caskey throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Brandon shoots in looking for a takedown but Caskey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brandon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Caskey throws a front kick aimed at Brandon's knee but Brandon avoids it well.
Brandon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Caskey went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Brandon's coach down at Death Valley Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Brandon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Brandon.
Brandon trying to control the action but Caskey is working from the bottom.
Caskey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brandon on the ground.
Brandon is putting a hurting on Caskey here, landing some big shots from side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Caskey parries the strikes from Brandon easily there. Brandon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Caskey to escape.
Brandon is looking to take a break and control but Caskey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Brandon decides to stand back up. Brandon steps back and let's Caskey get back to his feet.
Brandon dives in and grabs Caskey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Caskey pushes down on Brandon's head and hops out.

Caskey gets caught flat footed, as Brandon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Caskey wants to stand but Brandon is controlling the position.
Brandon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Caskey's guard.
Caskey on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Caskey tries to get out of the position.
Brandon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Caskey defending well though.
Brandon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Caskey has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Brandon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Brandon has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Caskey defend it? Brandon steps over the head and cranks it - Caskey is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Brandon!
