Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aznar Thrul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raise Hell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hell has chosen System Of A Down-Vicinity Of Obscenity as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Raise Hell!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hell throws the kick towards the body but Thrul avoids it.
Thrul has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Damage in the buildup to the fight.
Hell keeps the fight on the outside.

Thrul drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hell has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Hell is trying to get back to half guard.
Thrul trying to control the position but Hell is working away.
Thrul sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hell is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thrul is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Thrul cracks Hell with a big right hand but Hell just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hell working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Thrul is pressing down on Hell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Thrul escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hell wants to control from the top but Thrul keeps moving.

Hell is continuing to stall.
Thrul is looking to regain half guard here but Hell keeps moving and retains side control.
Hell lands a few punches from side control.
Thrul takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
You can see the frustration on Thrul's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Thrul is working hard here to advance position.
Hell wants to control but Thrul is keeping him busy.

Hell is putting a hurting on Thrul here, landing some big shots from side control.

Hell is looking to take a break and control but Thrul is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hell advances nicely into full mount.

A close round but Raise Hell will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hell has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hell is looking to reverse the position.
Hell on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The ground and pound from Thrul seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Hell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thrul can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Thrul looking to sit in guard and control but Hell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hell makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thrul is keeping the position for now.

Thrul throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hell uses it to pass to side control.
Thrul can't do much from the bottom here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hell fails to land a wild elbow strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aznar Thrul will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

A shot to the liver by Hell. Beautiful body shot.

and Hell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hell thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Thrul if he has to take too many more of those.
Thrul wants to slow Hell down by chopping away at his legs.
Hell connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hell scores with a leg kick.
Hell paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Aznar Thrul has been cut.
Thrul throws a push kick but Hell slaps the foot to one side.
Hell replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Thrul blocks it well.

enabling Hell to counter with a crisp jab.
Thrul is looking to clinch but Hell is avoiding it.
Hell throws out a counter right but Thrul avoids it with no problem.
Thrul throws a head kick but Hell moves out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hell tries to bum rush Thrul with a series of wild strikes but Thrul uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Thrul changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hell tries to avoid it but Thrul manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hell to the ground. Hell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thrul moves in looking to clinch but Hell pushes him off.
Hell checks a low kick from Thrul.
Thrul is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Raise Hell seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Thrul tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hell swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Thrul scores with a nice hook to the head.
Thrul doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Thrul fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Thrul blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Thrul lands with a right to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hell swings wildly with an uppercut but Thrul uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hell digs a right hand underneath Thrul's ribcage. Thrul let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Thrul turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Thrul manages to end up in side control.

Hell gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Hell is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Thrul's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Thrul's back!
