Steigelmann uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bateman.

Steigelmann cracks Bateman with an uppercut from hell and Bateman crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Steigelmann's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Steigelmann ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bateman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bateman throws a looping overhand right but Steigelmann ducks down to avoid it.

Steigelmann loads up on a big right hand but Bateman slips the punch.
Patrick Bateman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bateman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Steigelmann throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Steigelmann walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steigelmann fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bateman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Steigelmann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bateman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Bateman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Steigelmann finds it's way round the side to connect with Bateman's head.

Steigelmann avoids a kick to the body.
A nice side step and Steigelmann releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Steigelmann throws a jab when Bateman was well out of range.
Steigelmann ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Bateman's jaw. Bateman's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Steigelmann does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
