Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Philip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferris Bueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bueller has chosen Oh Yeah as his entrance music. David Philip has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Philip!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ferris Bueller!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bueller misses with a straight right.
Philip throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bueller's waist but Bueller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Philip off to one side.
Philip shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bueller as he jumps to the side.
Bueller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bueller scores with a sloppy right hand. Philip should have avoided that one.
Philip with a poor takedown
and Bueller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bueller misses with an uppercut.
Philip uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bueller.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Philip is trying to break the clinch but Bueller has him pressed against the cage.

Bueller lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Philip is trying to push Bueller away but Bueller has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Philip wants to break free but Bueller has control.

enabling Bueller to counter with a crisp jab.
Philip shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bueller pinned against the cage. Bueller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A little jabbing left from Bueller on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Bueller stuffs the takedown attempt from Philip. Philip gets slowly back to his feet.
Philip lands with a nice body punch.
Philip pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Bueller as Philip shoots in.
Bueller lands with an uppercut that bounces Philip off the cage and back into range.
Philip really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bueller moves out of range as Philip throws a body kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bueller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Philip.
Bueller looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bueller misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Philip.

and Bueller counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ferris Bueller dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bueller might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Philip uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bueller.

and Bueller connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bueller looks to score with a jab to the body but Philip is just out of range.

Philip changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bueller tries to avoid it but Philip manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bueller to the ground. Bueller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Philip's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bueller under the eye.

Philip shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bueller pinned against the cage. Bueller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bueller looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Ferris Bueller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Philip shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bueller as he avoids it easily.
Philip misses with a body shot.
Philip is looking to clinch but Bueller is avoiding it.
Bueller looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Philip tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bueller swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fighters circling - Bueller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Philip seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Philip closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Philip tries for a takedown but Bueller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bueller leaves Philip with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It seemed like Bueller was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Bueller lands with an uppercut that bounces Philip off the cage and back into range.
Bueller drops Philip with a huge uppercut! Philip drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Bueller is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ferris Bueller!
A very excited looking Ferris Bueller rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
