Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robin Kluivert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Las Mambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kluivert shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kluivert tries a low kick but Mambo avoids it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mambo enables Kluivert to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mambo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mambo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Mambo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kluivert swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kluivert throws a sloppy head kick and Mambo moves out of range easily.
Kluivert dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mambo. That did some damage!

Kluivert shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kluivert is looking to stall here but Mambo recovers full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kluivert wants to control from the top but Mambo keeps moving.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kluivert feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kluivert is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mambo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kluivert gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mambo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kluivert lets go of the hold and Mambo can pop his arm back in it's socket.

A relieved looking Robin Kluivert thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
