Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boreste Bardanos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bardanos's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My Kingdom Will Come. Borg has chosen Don't Borg Out as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boreste Bardanos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Junior Borg!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Borg ducks under a wild hook from Bardanos.
A little jabbing left from Borg on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Bardanos showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Borg.

Borg moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Borg throws a poor cross that misses
and Bardanos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Borg won't be happy with that.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bardanos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bardanos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bardanos looking to control but Borg is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Bardanos lands a nice shot to the head.
Borg keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bardanos lands a couple of good shots and Borg has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Bardanos has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Borg has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Borg is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bardanos gets his way!
Bardanos has the hooks in. Borg is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Bardanos is looking for the choke from the back position but Borg is controlling his hands well.
Bardanos punches the canvas rather than the man.
Bardanos tries to get the hooks in deep but Borg pushed the leg off.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Bardanos.
Borg tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Borg is bucking up trying to escape but Bardanos cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Borg wants to control but Bardanos is having none of it.

Borg bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Borg wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bardanos's closed guard. He's half up but Bardanos has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bardanos pivots and extends the arm, Borg falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bardanos! Well done that man!
