Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Terakado Tessai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Genki Machida!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tessai listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Genki Machida has been cut.
Tessai tries to keep at a distance but Machida has taken the fight into the clinch.
Machida has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tessai is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Machida pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Machida doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tessai counters with a crisp one two that drops Machida! Tessai thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Machida to his feet! Machida is in big trouble!
Machida is rocked!
Machida misses with an uppercut
and Tessai rattles Machida with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Machida tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Tessai dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Machida stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Terakado Tessai!
